Remi Urreta
I’m a first-generation Latina, proudly shaped by my Cuban father and Uruguayan mother, blending cultures, stories, and traditions into who I am today. Growing up, I was always on the move—whether in the pool as a swimmer or on the field playing softball, I learned discipline, teamwork, and resilience through sports.
My creativity has always been just as important as my athletic side. I’ve spent years exploring music through a range of string instruments, including cello, bass, bass guitar, and violin, which helped me develop a deep appreciation for sound and expression. My taste in music is just as diverse—spanning rock, salsa, reggaeton, hip-hop, pop, EDM, and dancehall—reflecting my love for rhythm, culture, and storytelling.
Beyond music, I’m passionate about visual art and enjoy painting and drawing across different mediums, always experimenting with new ways to bring ideas to life. I also love creating videos, combining visuals, music, and storytelling into something meaningful and engaging.
At my core, I’m someone who thrives on creativity, culture, and expression—always looking for new ways to grow, connect, and create.
